WWE SmackDown! Debut on MyNetworkTV Fast Rating

WWE drew a 2.4 rating for Friday's debut on MyNetworkTV, according to F4Wonline.com. This is the highest rating in the history of MyNetworkTV.

Powell's POV: WWE officials should be doing cartwheels over that rating. There was plenty of concern that the show would come in below the 2.0 mark, so they have to be thrilled with the fast network rating the show drew on Friday night.

WWE Smackdown drew a 1.9 rating for Friday's debut on MyNetwork television, according to a press release issued by WWE and the network. The press release touts that the show drew the largest rating in the history of MyNetworkTV. To read the full press release, visit WWE.com.

Powell's POV: The show finished below 2.0, but it could have been a lot worse for WWE. Keep in mind when reading the press release that drawing the best rating in MyNetwork Television history is like being dubbed the best football team in the NFC North.

Well I guess the concern about MyNetwork bringing lower ratings because it's in less markets(supposedly) to SmackDown is gone. It did just fine.

Last night's RAW did hours of a 3.0 and 3.0 for a composite cable rating of 3.0, with 4.5 million viewers. More Raw ratings numbers still to come.

10/9 TNA Rating

TNA Impact drew a 0.95 rating. Although the rating rounds up to a 1.0, which would be equal to last week's number, the actual rating is technically down from last week. The quarter-hour that featured Awesome Kong and Raisha Saeed vs. Roxxi and ODB was the only quarter-hour to reach the 1.0 mark. The segment that that followed featured A.J. Styles vs. Booker T with Christian Cage and dropped to a 0.90 rating.

Powell's POV: This has to be a big disappointment for TNA heading into the Bound For Glory pay-per-view. By the way, the segment with big guns Jeff Jarrett, Mick Foley, and Kurt Angle drew a 0.93.

10/10 SmackDown Rating

Friday's WWE Smackdown drew a 2.1 rating, which is up from the 1.9 rating the show drew last week. The Broadcasting and Cable website reports that the show drew 3.5 million viewers, which his up from the 3.2 million viewers that tuned in the first week. Powell's POV: That's an impressive increase for the second week. The show averaged a 2.5 rating on The CW network and it will be interesting to see how long it takes them to reach that rating on their new network home.

10/13 RAW Rating

Monday's WWE Raw drew a 3.1 rating, which is up from last week's 3.0 rating and equal to the rating the show drew two weeks ago. The first hour drew a 2.99 rating, while the second hour finished with a 3.15.
